Ma Nyande Women's Development Organization (MNWDO) transforms communities in Sierra Leone by empowering women and youth through agriculture, health, and economic initiatives. Operating in rural areas like Bo and Falaba Districts, we foster food security, nutrition, and sustainable livelihoods through cooperative farming, market access, and community-driven programs.
Our initiatives include school feeding programs to provide markets for women farmers, health screenings for breast cancer and HIV in hard-to-reach areas, and youth engagement through agricultural innovations like poultry and fish farming. By aligning with Sierra Leone’s Feed Salone initiative, we strengthen local economies and promote gender equality in agriculture.
In collaboration with partners like UN Women, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the World Food Programme, MNWDO has impacted thousands of lives by integrating agriculture with community development. Our work ensures women and youth lead in creating resilient, self-sustaining communities.
MNWDO’s community impact initiatives are rooted in equity and sustainability. By empowering women and youth with resources, knowledge, and opportunities, we are building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities across Sierra Leone, one harvest and one health check at a time.
